Wild Dogs Sighted During Patrol

On September 14,  the AKTF team and the MC rangers removed 40 wire snares and rescued 2 wildebeests. They also spotted 3 wild dogs along the Mara/Serengeti border during the foot patrol. Demand of the bush meat seems to be on the rise as poachers are putting many snares out to catch the wildlife. Last Saturday the same team removed 92 snares and rescued another 3 wildebeests. The team is determined to discourage the poachers by removing the snares before they kill the wildlife.
