Team Scours the Escarpment for Signs of Poaching (Mar. 13)

The AKTF team& MC rangers patroled along the Oloololo Escarpment. We checked poacher’s routes (by foot) to make sure the wildlife is safe. Although most poachers use wire snares to kill the wildlife, others are using spears, bows and arrows but we are ready manning most of the entry routes to deter them from accessing the park. Bushmeat is still popular & poachers are trying many tricks to kill the wildlife & supply it to their customers.
